We recently replaced an old Rheem electric hot water heater that was unable to repaired for a more energy efficient model for an elderly customer in Pymble.
Their old internal Rheem hot water system was located inside a cupboard in the laundry and had been leaking for some time from the top of the tank. Over time the water had damaged the bottom of the cupboard and it needed to be replaced. It would have been difficult, time consuming and expensive for a handyman or carpenter to repair the cupboard with a hot water system full of water in place so we fixed the cupboard for the customer while we were there. We then installed the new Rheem system and the client should experience trouble free hot water (and cupboard) usage for many years to come.
It’s a rewarding experience when our team are able to help customers, particularly older ones, with issues beyond general plumbing and hot water heater repairs.
